It's Monday & another Comic Con has Closed

Last Thursday kicked off New York Comic Con and their Instagram (@newyorkcomiccon) made it look like it was an event not to be missed.

There were great cosplays...

and the crowds were ginormous...

and there were some great panels...

and the celebs were up to their usual antics.

But then this happened...and this was basically all the information I have been able to find out about the  Con from a distance. Yep, just in case you hadn't heard, Clooney cut his honeymoon short and showed up to promote his new film Tomorrowland.

With that being said, we are so excited to see a Comic Con in our neck of the woods! Louisiana Comic Con was announced recently so we thought we would keep you up to date on information as we receive it. We know that it will take place at the Bossier Civic Center (a.k.a. the land of Arts & Craft Shows) on February 21, 2015. If you are an artists they are currently accepting Vendors and I must say their prices are pretty reasonable. I do know that Tacular Threads & Art will be there along with Southernerds. Two vendors that never disappoint. As far as guests, the list is sparse at the moment, but we all know those lists fill in and get better and better up until the moment that the Con kicks off. The admission price is listed at $10 dollars. As we get more information we will certainly pass it along to you.

P.S. A special thanks to Seven of Ten for covering my Cosplay blog last week! Let's just say I am very happy I don't have to fly in the foreseeable future. Somehow my flights were delayed not only on the way to Atlanta, but on the way back. Ugh! Airports.

Happy Monday everyone and I hope your week is stellar! I will be back on Friday with a High 5! Until then, stay exceptionally chic & exquisitely geek!
