High 5 for Family Movies

So, during Sneazmageddon we spent quite a bit of time play video games and watching movies. We are not a huge fan of the cold, so playing outdoors lasted all of ten minutes for us, literally.

One evening, I believe it was Sneax-Day Monday, we were perusing Netflix and The Ninja suggested watching Flubber. I was all about that life, let's be clear...but Treyson has his reservations. He had never heard of Flubber, he had no idea what gloriously animated green gloop could do, and he didn't understand the magic of Robin Williams. Don't worry, we rectified the situation immediately.

It reminded me of last year when I dressed up as Mary Poppins for Halloween. Treyson had never heard of Mary Poppins. He had never heard Julie Andrews sing in all her supercalifragilisticexpialidocious glory. He was just numb to it all. And between the Flubber incident and the Mary Poppins problem The Ninja and I have come up with a radical solution to solve it.

Family Movie Night and a chalkboard.

Yep. We are going to make a list of all of our favorite movies from our childhood and watch them every other Friday night until we've made our way through the list.

Below you will find my first 5 contributions for the "List of Excellence."  All of these films can be found on Netflix for your viewing pleasure, especially since the business geniuses at Disney do that whole "vault" thingy-ma-jig.

What are the movies that you remember from your childhood? These are the ones that I found on Netflix Instant View, but there are definitely a few more on our list. I hope you guys have an excellent weekend and until next time, stay exceptionally chic & exquisitely geek!
